Soaked & Slow Roasted Pecans

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs Raw nuts

  • Filtered water

  • 2 T Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place raw nuts into a glass bowl and will with water until all nuts are submerged

  2. Add 2 T sea salt and mix

  3. Cover and let soak at room temperature for 8-12 hours

  4. Strain out water and pat dry on a cookie sheet

  5. OPTIONAL: Sprinkle with spices of choice, such as cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

  6. Place in oven at Warm or the lowest temperature for 8 hours

  7. Remove and enjoy immediately, or store them for future consumption

 

PRO TIP: They taste even better if they are stored in the freezer!
